Broadway Musical Theatre was founded in 2004 on the premise that

South Florida possesses an untapped resource of extremely talented

individuals whose artistic aspirations were only limited by the lack of

opportunities to perform on stage.   As a dynamic cultural organization,

our focus is on developing highly motivated performers in the many

facets of musical theatre – both young and old.   The organization is

strongly committed to developing talent in South Florida and providing

it with a platform from which aspiring performers may develop their

abilities.  In short, we endeavor to provide talented and highly motivated

individuals with that scarcest resource – time on stage.   Broadway

Musical Theatre is a privately funded organization which receives no

funding or subsidies from any state or local agencies.   All productions

are privately financed by individuals - who along with their passion for

theatre bring an expertise in the areas of finance, marketing and business

- permitting the organization to become a sustainable and innovative

endeavor.  Since our inception, we have reached a diverse cross-section

of communities throughout South Florida as measured by some of the

most highly attended stage productions we have produced.   In extending

the opportunity to highly talented children and adults to display their

work on such a platform, we are proud to be bringing the artistic talents

of South Florida to life and at the same time presenting Broadway’s

most famous productions.
